Seafoam Woodturning Studio is operated by Derek Andrews who creates a variety of turned products from a variety of local hardwoods and a few more exotic species. His workshop and studio is at Seafoam in Pictou County.
The product range includes practical items such as kitchenware, (wooden bowls which are great for salads or serving snacks, spurtles, and rolling pins) to decorative products (such as pendants, weedpots, and bits ‘n bobs).
All of Derek’s products make a fine complement to all the produce available at the Market!
The Antigonish Farmers' Market was established in 1995 as a local venue for farmers and other producers to market their wares directly to the public. With the support of the people of Antigonish and the surrounding area, the Market has continued to grow and thrive.
